Nowadays, there are some many varieties of food to choose from, that sometimes we are spoilt for choice. But when we know what's good or bad for us, that's when it's easier to make the "good Healthy Choices", because then we'll know what's the consequences will be if we made the "bad choice". Most people say that they usually eat their favorite foods. But have we ever stop to think that it's our favorite food, because we have become accustomed to it?
Many people have the idea that "good Healthy Foods" taste like feet (tasteless), but with some innovation, and creativity, we can actually for example, add spices or condiments to suite our taste buds.
You see, we all can change our taste buds and our perception of "tasteless Healthy Foods", when we are well equip with the correct information.
Yes I hear you, you said that you'll eat whatever you like, and that's your purogative. But don't say that you didn't know that you are harming yourself or worst still poisoning yourself. Look in the Newspapers, and you'll read about Cancer, heart diseases, diabetes, and they are in us, growing in our system, because we are "feeding them", so to speak. Cancerous chemicals and other unhealthy substances, hidden in our "favorite foods".

and what effect it has on our Health?
Let me disclose some of the information about each one of them, and boy, it
might just surprise you. This week, I start off with 5 Most Popular American Food.
1, 2 and 3 spots belong to Hamburgers, Chicken Nuggets and Hot Dogs - the ALL Time American Favorite.
As you may know they are in the "High-Risk Food" category, maybe because of how they are being manufactured and processed, under poor health standards.
Just search the Internet you'll learn that Hamburgers, Chicken Nuggets and Hot Dogs are made of leftovers from the slaughterhouse, the unusable portions. Meat that is not sold in the marketplace (other animal parts, ears, etc) are minced and are used for burgers.
Food enhancers, for example, MSG also known as Monosodium glutamate, which sometimes is the cause of allergic reactions and the occasional headaches, is a chemical sometimes used by farmers to fatten the animals. So what do you think when we eat them? Of course, we'll get fat too.
Recently in the news, they are mentioning that farmers are also using Antibiotics on their animals, to prevent bacteria or eliminate the bacteria already in the animals. SO are we also consuming the antibiotics when we eat our beef, chicken or ham? Something to think about.
Let's not forget the hormones which are being fed by the farmers to the chickens and cattles, it has been reported that consuming their meat could result in our imbalance hormonal setup.
4. Cookies
If we look at the ingredients printed on the packaging, most of the time Sugar is first on the list, Chocolate is LAST, which would indicate that it is the least. Top of the list Sugar, and we all know the dangers of consuming too much Sugar.
5. French Fries
You've seen it in McDonalds, how they make French Fries, opened the bag of raw potato fries and emerging them into the boiling oil at high temperature, which doctors say releases the chemical known as "Acrylimide". Some other Fast-Food outlets even re-use the oxidized oil for weeks. Did you know that Potatoes have a very high glycemic index that turns to Sugar very quickly in the body?
